Where we outline our impactful initiatives designed to empower African youth and foster positive change within our communities.
Book Donation Drives
We collaborate with individuals through a social media call to collect books and in partnership with organizations; we later donate them to communities with need. It usually happens annually across different regions of the country.
African Readers Conference
The conference typically happens in September every year and to date we’ve organized three editions. The conference captures items like keynote speakers, panel discussions, book exhibitions and networking opportunities.
Mentorship & Literacy Workshops
Through interactive sessions led by experienced educators, participants delve in to various aspects of literacy including reading comprehension, creative writing and critical thinking skills.
Who We Are
Read Us Africa was established on 24th June 2020, as Rangers Book Club (RBC) with a membership of 11 participants. In July 2020, the membership grew to over 121 participants who had us launch the first book club chapters in Ghana and Zimbabwe on 10th and 23rd December 2020 respectively.
On 1st January 2021, we officially changed from Rangers Book Club (RBC) to Read Us Africa (RUA) which is our current brand.
AGENDA 2030:
- Empower over 8 million readers, writers and leaders.
- Establish a publishing house.
- Launch a book store
